Payment
At the moment, we can only accept payment by paypal - but you do not need to own a PayPal account to pay: you may enter your credit card's data directly at PayPal and complete your payment (you don't need to register a PayPal account either).

 

Orders
We are a small company and our production and administration teams will be helping to wrap and post your orders. Our aim is to get the chocolate posted to you on the day after your order but we will not be able to process orders on weekends or bank holidays. This means that generally : 



  • Orders received Monday-Thursday will be despatched the following day
  • Orders received on a Friday will be despatched on a Monday
  • Orders placed over a weekend will be despatched the following Monday
  • Orders placed over a Bank Holiday weekend or Local Holiday (AB51) will be despatched the following Tuesday.

 

Delivery – UK mainland only UK
Standard Delivery; 3 – 5 working days.

Not available for International Delivery; at the moment we are unable to send to international addresses due to various import restrictions out with our control. Please contact mackies@mackies.co.uk if you want to investigate the possibility of delivery out with the UK.

We will normally despatch your order to you within 3 working days. We deliver in the UK and Channel Islands by Royal Mail or similar postal service. Please ensure that the name and address you provide is correct and that delivery to the recipient is possible. We cannot accept responsibility for late deliveries as a result of the failure of the delivery service.

Meet the postie! The dimensions of the packs are approximately Introductory pack of four:- Height: 50mm x Depth: 240mm x Width: 140mm Box of 15 chocolate bars:- Height: 211mm x Depth: 181mm x Width: 90mm This is larger than most letterbox sizes which means that the recipient should be available to receive the delivery. If the recipient or a person able to accept the delivery of the products is absent, the carrier will leave a notification of the delivery at the delivery address indicated by the customer asking him to claim the products. Mackie’s will not accept responsibility for any damage to the products resulting from their late recovery from the carrier.

Watch the weather! Mackie’s cannot guarantee that the chocolate will not melt if subjected to warm temperature. Pease do not request the chocolate to be left in a location which may be sunny or warm. We advise against deliveries when temperatures are higher than that of the UK average summer. We have no control over temperatures during deliveries and so we cannot accept responsibility for any chocolate deliveries that have been heat damaged.

We hope that you enjoy Mackie’s chocolate and will be back for more! We like to hear your reviews and feedback. In the unlikely event that it doesn’t arrive in perfect condition, then please let us know.

In the event of any damage during transit (other than heat damage) or other complaint please inform us about the problem via our contact page or telephone 01467 671466 and return the chocolate to the Freepost Address below:

If making any return, please ensure that you include the following details:

  • Your order number or billing address (including postcode)
  • The damaged chocolate
  • Main reason for returning the item/items.

We will deal with any complaint individually. Please note that any refund or replacement can only be made if the original chocolate is returned within 14 days of receipt of goods.
