A popular flavour in the range, the allure of Salted Caramel comes from the delicate taste balance between tangy salt and sweet caramel.

All our ice creams go through many trial recipes to reach the final version – but this was a particularly difficult challenge! We tried and tasted many types of salt in differing amounts to find the desired match to our caramel sauce and ice cream, we hope you enjoy the final result. 

  • Whole milk (52%), whipping cream (19%), salted caramel sauce (12%), sugar, milk solids, glycerine, sea salt, emulsifier (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), caramelised sugar syrup, pasteurised free range eggs*, stabilisers (sodium alginate and guar gum), natural flavouring.

    Salted caramel sauce contains sugar, water, partially inverted refiners syrup, whipping cream, salted butter, modified maize starch, sea salt, caramelised sugar syrup

    *We have updated our recipe so as to remove egg, allowing more people to enjoy our ice cream. While tubs with the old recipe remain in circulation, we will keep egg as a listed ingredient on the website. Tubs which do not show egg on the ingredient deck do not contain any egg, so please refer to the individual tub label in determining whether the product contains egg.

Please note that it is the retailer who makes decisions about store allocation – and sadly, our products may not be in all of their shops. We will keep doing our best to make that happen! CREAMY, SWEET, SALTED!

We added a swirl of salted caramel sauce into our salted caramel ice cream. We had to find two great tasting salted caramel recipes which were then enhanced by being together and a match for the natural creamy flavour of our ice cream.

Creamy and Unctuous

The balance of flavours between the caramel and salt is well judged and will please lovers of caramel. The toffee notes would make it a good complement for apple pie or crumble.
