Mackie’s ice cream parlour is in Aberdeen city centre, and the name reflects the 19.2 miles distance from the parlour to the farm. Come and enjoy your favourite from over 30 flavours of ice cream in cones, tubs, sundaes, milkshakes or with freshly made crepes and waffles.

We offer a continually varying array of hand-made flavours, many unique to the parlour – like our tribute to the North East ‘Buttery and Jam’ – alongside classic Mackie’s favourites like Traditional or Honeycomb. Ever-flowing chocolate!

Warmed to melting, Mackie’s chocolate is on tap! The two taps from Italy are a centre piece in the parlour, pouring chocolate and other delicious sauces like biscoff onto ice cream, waffles, crepes, milk shakes, sundaes or even hot chocolate. Almost everything in life can be enhanced with chocolate and ice cream!

Mackie’s ice cream parlour and coffee shop is in the courtyard at Marischal Square, Aberdeen – beside ‘Poised’, an amazing huge steel leopard sculpture. In the parlour, the ice cream rippled ceiling feature, our illuminated multi-coloured cow and a neon lit, Italian specialist ice cream counter with varied areas of seating for 40 creates a fun and relaxing space for all ages. There’s no need to book and you can check opening times and menu specials over on our parlour Facebook and Instagram pages!

My favourite place in Aberdeen! We visited several times and never were disappointed. Great service, lots of options, worth the money.

Lovely café

We found this café by accident on a very cold day, and ordered the special hot chocolate. It was absolutely delicious and we received a very warm and friendly welcome. Will definitely go back.

What's not to like about an ice cream shop?

Great place for a treat - there's plenty seats, service was quick and friendly, plenty choice and not overly expensive. Highly recommend!

Tasty treat!

Tasty waffles fantastic treat for a brunch! Loads of flavours to choose from and the chocolate tap is so great! Service is always welcoming and they even offered for me to have a small taste of an ice-cream flavour I wasn't sure about!

Amazing sundaes

Great selection of ice-creams, cakes and drinks. You can make your own Sundae which was amazing as well as massive! Welcoming environment and you can sit outside too (they even provide blankets for colder days).

My favourite place to come for an ice cream, the best ice cream going about! Loads of different flavours to choose from and great service!
